By the way - your blog turned all italic-y. Missing an end code?

Good call. My browsers were compensating for it. - jemima

It may have all been done before, but there are epic fics yet to write... people yet to kill. And never underestimate the power of a decent OC.

I'm swiping a robotic dog from Battlestar Galactica and reinventing it. I'm tearing apart my current pairing by increments to see what happens. There's no end to the experimentation of the tired muse....

No, but then I wasn't either.

Conan Doyle was writing Holmes for a lot longer than most fan writers last before he tried to do him in. And I don't see LMB on ASC...

The hamster wheel of fandom rolls on. Maybe the problem is the potlatch: we're not in it just for the fic, so the fic can never be enough.

LMB was a housewife with a hobby, but before that, she was a fangirl writing TOS fic. Time, maturity, etc.

Real authors do burn out. Conan Doyle tried to kill of Holmes. Harper Lee only wrote one book.

Fandom (and possibly our hearts) will go on. If you leave, we'll miss you, but we'll make sure to keep you around, because ... well, we'll miss you.

We may not be BNFs, but as a group, we like each other with or without Epic Fics appearing on a regular basis.

I'm not making any sense, am I?
