The "temporary" suspension of A Line service has been going on even longer (since 1969), so I suppose I should be glad if I catch a train or a bus at Beaconsfield anytime between this Friday and 2008. Maybe I can get one of these MBTA employees whose job it is to stand around saying that there's no service or explaining how to use Charlie vending machines to give me a piggyback ride downtown.
