So very Boston

This one is so very Boston I have to blog it: /. on how to take over a train station wirelessly–namely, South Station.

Actually all he did was get through a security hole into the station’s wireless network service, which people can pay for and surf wirelessly while waiting for their train. The station and its scheduling weren’t accessible. Still, insecure networks are fun to play with.

The hype is straight from the /. article. The train schedule would be fun to play with, too, but I’m sure it’s maintained by gnomes rather than computers.
